Aims & Goals

Increase the number and diversity of juniors who have tried playing squash at Rochdale Sports Club
Measure
Have at least 100 juniors p.a. who have tried squash via working with schools colleges and holding easter and summer schools
Increase the number of junior squash members who regularly play squash
Measure
Review the membership numbers annually and develop plans to increase numbers of members and frequency of participation
Increase the number of girls and ladies playing squash at the Club
Measure
Track the setting up of ladies training sessions and undertake preliminary study of enablers for girls and women to be more active in sport

Raise the standard of juniors playing squash
Measure
Winning NWCSL, to have juniors representing the county with county and national ranking
Increase the number and standard of young juniors U13
Measure
Entering a junior team in the NWCSL at U13’s level
Increase Social media following
Measure
Increase the following to over 1000 and to issue new post at least 24 times a year
Increase the number of volunteers who are juniors
Increase the number of juniors playing in the senior teams and the level at which they play
Hold a copper England Squash sanctioned tournament

Rochdale Squash Club Juniors

We’ve got classes for all ages and abilities, ranging from 5-18 years.

All rackets and equipment provided. Just turn up, have fun and learn about the game of squash!

We have a team of qualified coaches to deliver fun and engaging sessions where we’ll help to learn a new sport, develop racket skills, grow in confidence, make new friends, and become a part of our growing squash club

5-9 years
Sunday Morning 10:30 – 11:30am

BEGINNERS SQUASH
8-13 years
Sunday Afternoon 4.00 – 5.00pm

INTERMEDIATE SQUASH
12-18 years
Sunday Evening 5.00 – 6.00pm
